Southern Sky AI has been selected as one of five finalists for the Innovators and Start-Ups Showcase at Marinas26, taking place 25 to 26 May 2026 at RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast.
The Showcase is part of the Future Smart program. Finalists receive a dedicated exhibition pod and a seven-minute presentation slot in front of more than 400 delegates from the Australian and international marina industries.
I look forward to sharing what Southern Sky AI is building with that room.
What I'll Be Presenting
Structured AI adoption for the marina industry. The truth about AI sits between two extremes: the warning that the sky is falling, and the salesman selling a magic tonic. The leaders who navigate it well are the ones who can hold both at once, then move deliberately.
- -Where marina operators already encounter AI today: embedded inside booking platforms, CRM systems, customer communications and operational tools, often without a documented adoption decision behind any of it.
- -The gap that opens when the level of governance does not match the level of automation already in use.
- -How Southern Sky AI works with maritime leaders through two done-with-you pathways: a personal AI working environment for senior maritime professionals, and structured AI adoption for maritime leadership teams. Academy sits above both as a self-directed AI literacy course for anyone in the industry.
- -Why a maritime-first, governance-led practice produces different outcomes to general AI consultancies adapting frameworks from other sectors.
Why Southern Sky AI
Southern Sky AI is the only practice in this field built on twenty years of maritime operational experience combined with legal qualifications and current AI credentials, including the 2026 ATSE Elevate Scholarship and a Master of Artificial Intelligence in progress.
Wish us luck.
