Kristina Agustin, Founder & Principal Digital Navigator at Southern Sky AI, is one of the valued judges of the Australian Marine Industry Awards, hosted by the Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX).
Kristina has spent more than 20 years working across the global superyacht and commercial maritime sectors. She began at sea and progressed into senior yacht management and fleet business management, including her role as Superyacht Business Consultant with Wright Maritime Group (USA).
From that foundation, Kristina founded Southern Sky AI — a digital navigation practice working with maritime leadership teams on AI governance, structured adoption, and executive decision support, helping organisations move forward with clarity, documentation, and operational confidence.
Industry Service
Now in her third consecutive year as a judge of the Australian Marine Industry Awards, Kristina also served as a Member of the Board of the International Superyacht Society from 2018 to 2024. She speaks regularly at maritime conferences including the Australian Commercial Marine Conference, MARE Forum, and the Australian Superyacht Conference.
In 2026, she will moderate the AI in Yachting panel at the ISS Leadership Series in West Palm Beach and join the AI and Technology panel at the USSA Superyacht Summit.
Credentials
She is currently completing a Master of Artificial Intelligence at the University of New England, holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Newcastle, and is a 2026 ATSE Elevate Scholar. Her AI credentials include AWS Certified AI Practitioner and Certified AI Consultant.
